At the African American Cultural and Historical Society, we aim to empower people of the Black diaspora by enriching their knowledge and appreciation of their culture
and African heritage throughout history. We strive to provide a positive and comprehensive
educational experience highlighting Black & African ancestors; significant contributions and
cultural legacy. Through innovative programs, engaging workshops, and dynamic
resources, we seek to inspire pride, confidence, and a deeper understanding of
Black and African identity. Our goal is to create a vibrant
community where history is celebrated, heritage is honored, and the voices of the
past illuminate future paths.

We work to correct the long-standing miseducation of African American people by providing accurate historical knowledge, cultural preservation, and transformative educational experiences. Our mission is to cultivate a renewed sense of pride, identity, and Race-Esteem—empowering individuals and communities to understand their heritage, embrace their greatness, and shape a future rooted in truth and dignity.
